Gmail pošta preko Outlooka

Imam slovenski Microsoft Office 2007, pa težavo v Outlooku: drugega računa tam nimam, imam pa konfiguriran račun iz gmaila, nastavitve točno po tem http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=77689 , pa mi pošiljanje pošte ne dela, jo noče poslati.

Sporočila, katera želim poslati, padejo v mapo Odpošlji v Osebnih mapah, na pod mojeime@gmail.com računu….

Morda si narobe vpisal strežnik za odhajajočo pošto (smtp). Uporabi tistega, ki si ga dobil od internetnega providerja (SIOL, T-2, Telemach, al kar že imaš).

Saj ta smtp je od gmaila in je pravilno vpisan, nimam drugega računa.

Kaj točno ti napiše, če na drugi sliki klikneš gumb Test Account Setings…?

Če nimaš telnet programa si instaliraj program putty http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html. Nato se ročno poveži na odhodni mail server – poženi ali telnet

telnet smtp.gmail.com 587

ali se v puttyu z telnet protokolom poveži na IP naslov smtp.gmail.com port 587

Če ti povezava uspe in se ti gmail strežnik javi z vrstico,

220 mx.google.com ESMTP

je z tvojo mrežo in mrežnimi nastavitvami vse v redu in je problem očitno v tvoji avtentikaciji pri pošiljanju emailov.

Poizkusi oboje zgoraj – test account in ročno povezavo na server, ter poročaj o rezultatih.

No, po eni logiki pa menda pipco navzven odpira provider, tako da sem Tajfunovega mnenja.

Ker sem malce len, se mi ne da sloveniti besedila, imaš original, če ne bo šlo, pa povej
pa si bom vzel nekaj minutk časa in poslovenil.

Add your Gmail e-mail account

To use your Gmail e-mail account in Outlook, you must first make sure POP3 support is enabled in Gmail, and then you can add it to Outlook.

Log in to your Gmail account.
At the top of any Gmail page, click Settings.
In the Mail Settings window, click Forwarding and POP.
I don’t see Forwarding and POP

Gmail is turning on POP3 support for users in phases. If Forwarding and POP does not appear, your Gmail account cannot be configured for POP3 support.

In the POP Download section, select Enable POP or all mail or Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on.
Click Save Settings.
In Outlook, on the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
Click POP3, and then click Next.
Under User Information, do the following:
In the Your Name box, type your full name the way you want it to appear to other people.
In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail user name followed by @gmail.com.
Under Server Information, do the following:
In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type pop.gmail.com.
In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type smtp.Gmail.com.
Under Logon Information, do the following:
In the User Name box, type your full e-mail address, including @gmail.com.
In the Password box, type your password.
Select the Remember password check box.
Note You have the option to have Outlook remember your password by typing it in the Password box and selecting the Remember password check box. Having Outlook remember your password means that you won’t have to type your password each time you access the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer. Use strong passwords that combine upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Weak passwords don’t mix these elements. Strong password: Y6dh!et5. Weak password: House27. Use a strong password that you can remember so that you don’t have to write it down.
Click More Settings.
On the General tab, under Mail Account, type Gmail.
Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click the Advanced tab, and then under Server Port Numbers for both Incoming server (POP3) and Outgoing server (SMTP), select the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) check boxes.
Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port number to 465.
The Incoming server (POP3) port number should change automatically to 995 when you select the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) check box.

Click OK.
To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings. If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
Click Next, and then click Finish.
Notes

Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.
Unless specified by Gmail, all server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.

Ali je morda caka v POP3 (incoming server)? Na sliki (navodilih) je 993 v resnici pa mora biti nastavljeno na 995.

klemen, dorizi – dohodni server je IMAP ne POP, port v navodilih je pravilni in očitno dohodna smer deluje. Problem je z pošiljanjem pošte na odhodni server po SMTP protokolu. Bertu sem predlagal naj preveri, če mu SMTP povezava do serverja dela – če mu, je z mrežo in mrežnimi nastavitvami vse v redu in je verjetno nekaj narobe z avtentikacijo – username/passwd ali enkripcijo odhodne povezave.
